Sameer: Definitely yaar...kyun Sid ?
Sid: Hmm...
Sameer: Kya soch raha hai ?
Sid: Dekh raha hoon vo jahaaz...jo zara der baad dikhai nahi dega...jaante ho...hum teeno us jahaaz ki tarah hain...jo aaj nahin to kal apni manzilon ko dhoondtey huye niklenge...aur ho sakta hai ki hamari manzilein alag alag ho...

Sid: Of course hain...lekin kiski zindgi kise kahan le jaati hai kya pata...kabhi socha hai...ki shayad har saal yahan aana toh ek taraf...dus saal mein ek baar bhi milna mushkil ho...
Akash: (Smiling)...aisa kuch bhi nahi hoga Sid...hum dost the...hain...aur rahenge...hamesha !
Sameer: Definitely !

Yes, you got it right...it is an excerpt from a lovely movie named Dil Chahta Hai which is also one of my all time favorites. I don't really know how many times I have watched this movie or how many times possibly I can watch it again. Whether it is the story line of the movie, the emotions in it or be it the phase of my life which seemed paralleling with the movie, whatever may be reason but it is a fact that this flick is really very close to my heart. Of course it was the prime reason why we went to that old, abandoned fort traversing over 40 kilometers on those rented Honda Activas or maybe for 'me'(different people, different motives !!) it was the main reason why I went to Goa. I just wanted to experience those exotic places, those beaches, deadly water sports and everything that was showcased in the movie with my own friends and believe me...I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the trip. Explored every interesting inch of Goa, all of the beaches, be it the farthest Morjim beach or the most beautiful Calangute beach, churches, forts, temples...and one wild night-out at the Tito's disc. Certainly, this trip was the most awesome of all the trips on which I have been to.

But good times are the ones that does not last for long...

(This post was there in the drafts when I logged into my blog after around one and half year. Seems like Blogspot is acquired and re-branded as Blogger by Google now. As I don't remember in which direction I was trying to take this article, I'm just posting it as it is in order to clear the backlog. Hope to start writing again soon!)
